Bear Creek Kitchen Transformation

Our client’s needs and desires were at the heart of this remodel, with the goal of creating a space that seamlessly blends style with practicality. The space was lacking in storage and functionality and was transformed into a stunning, modern haven.

We started by addressing the challenges: the hallway access needed to be closed off to create a more private kitchen environment. To illuminate the space, we introduced an array of recessed lights and a sleek surface mount light. The outdated popcorn ceiling became a thing of the past as we revamped it for a cleaner, more contemporary look.

Our client’s vision of a separate island, enhanced storage, and open shelving guided our design choices. A striking island now stands as the centerpiece, carefully tailored to fit both the available space and functional requirements. But the innovation didn’t stop there; we transformed the recessed nook beneath the stairs into a charming coffee station with convenient open shelving and a microwave neatly tucked below.

When it comes to the materials, we focused on quality and aesthetics. The custom cabinetry boasts an Alder square inset design finished with elegant nickel accents. The countertop, an exquisite Lx Hausys Rococo, not only adds a touch of luxury but also showcases its functionality. The finishing touch comes in the form of matte black Hickory Hardware pulls, a stylish detail that ties everything together.

Balancing dimension and functionality, we successfully integrated an outlet within the island, adhering to the most recent safety codes without compromising on design. To achieve this, we modified the cabinet drawers, allowing ample space at the back for outlet installation, eliminating the need for any unsightly half walls.
